3. The personal data we collect

- Correspondence: information you provide when you contact us by email, telephone, or messaging services.
- Identity and anti-money laundering data for accounting clients.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic usage data collected through cookies and similar technologies when you visit the website.
Some information comes from other sources, such as identity verification providers, Companies House, HMRC, and public sanctions lists. If you become an accounting client, we are required by law to verify your identity, and we cannot act for you if you do not provide the information we need.
We do not intentionally collect special category data through this website, and we ask that you do not submit it via our forms.
4. How we use your data and our lawful bases

Personal data we collect for anti-money laundering checks is only used to prevent money laundering and terrorist financing, unless the law allows another use or you have agreed to it.
5. Who we share your data with
Where you ask us to introduce you to a service provider, we share your contact details and a summary of your requirements with the relevant third-party provider so they can contact you. We only share your data for this purpose with your consent.
When we provide accounting services, we share your data with HMRC and Companies House when we act for you, and with identity verification and sanctions screening providers. We may also share data with the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) as our supervisory body, our professional indemnity insurers, and law enforcement, including the National Crime Agency, where the law requires it.
We also use trusted service providers to operate our business, such as website hosting, IT, and email providers, cloud accounting, document storage, e-signature, and WhatsApp messaging providers, who process data on our behalf under appropriate contractual safeguards. We may disclose personal data where required by law or regulation.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. International transfers
Some of the third-party providers we introduce clients to are located outside the United Kingdom, principally in the United Arab Emirates. Where an introduction involves transferring your personal data outside the UK, we will do so only with your consent and, where required, with appropriate safeguards in place in accordance with UK GDPR. Some of the software providers we use for our accounting services may also store data outside the UK, and we make sure appropriate safeguards are in place. You should be aware that data protection laws in other jurisdictions may differ from those in the UK.
7. How long we keep your data
We keep enquiry data for as long as necessary to deal with your enquiry and any resulting introduction, and thereafter for up to six years to comply with legal, regulatory, and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted. For accounting clients, identity and anti-money laundering records are kept for five years from the end of our business relationship and then deleted, unless the law requires us to keep them longer, and engagement and tax records are kept for at least six years from the end of the engagement. Marketing consents are retained until you withdraw them.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; have inaccurate data corrected; have your data erased in certain circumstances; restrict or object to our processing; receive your data in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Some of these rights are limited where we must keep data by law, for example anti-money laundering records.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at admin@nbcglobalservices.co.uk. We will respond within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would welcome the opportunity to address your concerns first.

This website uses essential cookies necessary for it to function, and may use analytics cookies to help us understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Where non-essential cookies are used, we will seek your consent.
10. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. Enquiry data is transmitted over encrypted connections and access is limited to those who need it.
